About Us:
The Warehouse Arts District Association (WADA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a vibrant arts community in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our mission is to support and promote local artists, galleries, and creative initiatives within the Warehouse Arts District and beyond.

Position Overview:
WADA is seeking a diligent and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the non-profit sector, possessing strong proficiency in QuickBooks, the Google Suite, and managing donor and membership databases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and financial statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks to reconcile accounts, process payments, and generate reports.
• Handle donor and membership databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with the team to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
• Assist with grant reporting and financial documentation as needed.
• Attend weekly in-person meetings with the team; remaining work can be conducted remotely.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Schedule and Compensation:

• 10-15 hours per week.
• One weekly in-person meeting required, with the rest of the work conducted remotely.
• Compensation commensurate with experience.
